What image should I upload?+

A square PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. Non-square images are centered and padded with transparent margins rather than stretched, so nothing gets distorted.

Why do the home-screen icons have a background?+

iOS and Android render icon transparency as black on the home screen, so those icons are flattened onto a background colour (white by default — you can change it or set it to transparent). The browser-tab favicons keep their transparency.

Where do the files go?+

Unzip them into your site's root folder and paste the tags from head.html into your page's <head>. That's it.

Do you keep my image?+
